Hanoi Sacred Guardians

1. East: Bach Ma Temple

The largest of the four sacred places is Bach Ma (White Horse) Temple, located in 76 Hang Buom Street, Hanoi. Bach Ma Temple was built in the ninth century to worship long Do (the belly of the dragon) – a pattern of Hanoi. The statue is a stately and solemn aspect represents a man with a square face, long beard and long hair. He is wearing a dress of a hermit and has bare feet. The fear of the statue's hand and magical oasis right hand holds a sword wrapped in a snake resting on the back of a turtle (a serpent symbolizes the turtle represents strength and immortality

Quan Thanh temple has a three-door entry. Opposite the entrance stand four large pillars.
